A generous couple from Pocklington, who donated £515 to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in lieu of gifts for their Golden Wedding Anniversary, have thanked everyone who contributed.
David and Doreen Herd celebrated their landmark anniversary on 22 December 2012 , and told anyone thinking about giving them presents to contribute money to a pot which the couple would give to the YAA.
