Whether creating a personal page or taking on a team challenge, fundraising online could not be easier. It means people can contribute quicker and you don’t have to physically collect cash. You can share updates and photos with your supporters throughout your fundraising and encourage more people to support you.

Here are some of the ways you can set up online fundraising

It’s really easy to set up your online fundraising page using GIVETAP. CLICK HERE select ‘Become a fundraiser’ and follow the instructions.

If you are taking part in an event listed on our website, such as a YAA Skydive Day or one of the runs, visit the webpage for that event here on our site, and follow the ‘Set up my fundraising page’ link, which will take you to our GIVETAP page for that event, so any money you raise will be added to the total for that event.

Once you have set up your page, use your unique link or QR code to share it far and wide!

Whether you are taking part in a challenge or would like people to donate in lieu of gifts for your Birthday, you can do this through your facebook page.

In the left menu of your facebook News Feed you will see a ‘Fundraisers’ option. By selecting this option and then ‘Raise Money’, followed by ‘Charity’, you will then be able to search for Yorkshier Air Ambulance. Select this option and then input all the details of your event and your goal fundraising amount and then publish to your facebook page.

Then SHARE IT!!! Ask all your friends, family, colleagues and follows to do the same and let as many people as possible know about the fantastic thing you are doing.

There are many other fundraising platforms that are available online too.  If you choose to fundraise for the YAA, and we are not already listed with them, please contact us at marketing@yaa.org.uk and we will look into getting the charity added to that site.

  • Gift Aid

    Gift Aid

As an independent registered charity, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance is entitled to HMRC’s Gift Aid scheme. This means that for every £1 donated, we can claim a further 25p from the government. So a donation of £1 would become £1.25, a donation of £5 is boosted to £6.25 and a £10 donation increases to £12.50 and so on. It’s a great way to boost your donation at no extra cost.

Please note that we can only claim Gift Aid on personal donations made by a UK tax payer and not on business or corporate donations.

The online fundraising platforms detailed on this page all include the option to add Gift Aid as part of their donation process. Don’t forget to remind your supporters about this option. It won’t cost them anything on top of their donation but will mean that the Yorkshire Air Ambulance receive 25p extra for every £1 they donate!
