Being involved in a serious incident or medical emergency can be a life changing and often a frightening time for both the patient and their families.

We care about every patient we have treated over the years, along with their families, and we want you to know that our help & support doesn’t have to stop once you reach the hospital.

Support for patients and loved ones.

Whether you would like help piecing together what happened on the day of your incident, help finding out the crew who attended you or your loved one, or you would like to pass on your feedback, you can contact us by emailing: patientcare@yaa.org.uk

Please include the patient’s name, the date of the incident, the hospital they were taken to, and any other information you feel relevant when contacting us, and one of our team will get back to you as soon as they can.

Could you help us by sharing your story?

We are conscious that once we have transferred a patient to hospital it can often be a critical and emotional time for them and their family. We also adhere to strict patient confidentiality guidelines and their right for privacy, so will not actively seek out patients following their admission to the hospital.

This means we often end up not knowing the outcome of our patients, and have to rely heavily on patients or their loved ones contacting us when they feel the time is right and appropriate.

Sharing your story with us or giving us feedback is a great way of not only helping us spread awareness of the service we provide, but it also helps build a bigger picture of our Charity work. If you would be happy to share your story with us and our supporters, please contact us at patientcare@yaa.org.uk
