West Community Fundraising Assistant Part-time

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, professional person,  able to engage with all members of the public to increase the contributions of individuals and groups through providing support and advice where necessary. You’ll provide support to the West Yorkshire community team by attending events across the region, engaging with our volunteers, donors and supporters. 

The role is to backfill and internal promotion which is covering a colleague on maternity leave, hence this is a fixed term contract for 6 months.

Fundraising Trustee

We are looking to appoint a new Trustee to the Board and we are particularly seeking individuals that bring current, live, relevant experience of fundraising, ideally in the charity sector, to complement the skills and backgrounds of existing Trustees. This role would also have direct line management responsibility for our two Directors of Fundraising. They will also be the voice on the Trustee Board for this crucial area and be able to represent the complexities of Fundraising to the board.

As a collaborative and involved Board, we are seeking individuals who are genuinely interested in YAA and are prepared to spend time outside of Board meetings getting to know the organisation, supporting the Senior Management Team and being involved in events and fundraising activities. We are looking for people willing to bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role, and who will broaden the diversity of thinking on our board.

Clinical Support Officer Part-time

Do you want to feel as though you are helping to save lives every day? When working for Yorkshire Air Ambulance  (YAA) as Clinical Support Office that is exactly what you will be doing!

This is a brand new role in the YAA/Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) partnership and will be responsible for supporting the clinical team of doctors and paramedics to develop and embed new clinical and quality governance, risk and assurance processes with YAA. This will help to ensure that the service is continually delivering and improving high quality, person centred and evidence informed clinical care.

Volunteer for us

Volunteers provide much-needed additional support to the Charity by spreading the word about YAA in local communities, increasing our fundraising opportunities, and providing valuable skills and experience. Volunteers are an integral part of our YAA family, without their help we could not raise the much-needed funds to keep this vital service flying.

We are always looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and committed people to join the team. Our volunteer’s passion and dedication mean that we can continue to be there for the people of Yorkshire and continue saving lives.

Our volunteer roles are flexible and can fit around you, whether that’s weekly, monthly, or a few times a year.

Work Experience/Placement Requests

We appreciate that Yorkshire Air Ambulance is a very attractive prospect for those looking for any form of work experience, whether it be on the charity side, in engineering, or with the crew. However, due to the sheer volume of requests we receive, alongside a variety of operation issues, the sensitive nature of many of the roles, and the varying and often inconsistent working patterns our team operates, we are unable to offer any form of work experience/placement within the Charity.
