Many believe the government funds Yorkshire Air Ambulance and that we fall under the NHS. This is untrue; a vital part of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s operation depends on the generosity of the public and organisations.
We are integrating a new system for our team to record call-outs. We are now adding incident reports again, recording recent incidents whilst also returning and adding incidents from previous months. This may take some time to update fully, so please bear with us.

Our crew and operational aircraft G-YAAA, based at Nostell Air Support Unit, were called at 11:33 AM on Friday 30th May 2025 to Goole, to a motocross incident. They provided support at the scene before travelling to hospital with the patient via road ambulance.
