Many believe the government funds Yorkshire Air Ambulance and that we fall under the NHS. This is untrue; a vital part of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s operation depends on the generosity of the public and organisations.
We are integrating a new system for our team to record call-outs. We are now adding incident reports again, recording recent incidents whilst also returning and adding incidents from previous months. This may take some time to update fully, so please bear with us.

Our Nostell-based crew and aircraft G-YORX were called to Sheffield at 8:13 AM on Wednesday, 30th July 2025, to a person who had fallen from height. They provided support at the scene before travelling with the person to hospital via land ambulance.
