Incident round up
Many believe the government funds Yorkshire Air Ambulance and that we fall under the NHS. This is untrue; a vital part of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s operation depends on the generosity of the public and organisations.
We are integrating a new system for our team to record call-outs. We are now adding incident reports again, recording recent incidents whilst also returning and adding incidents from previous months. This may take some time to update fully, so please bear with us.

Pontefract
At 12.37pm we dispatched our Nostell aircraft to a cardiac arrest in Pontefract. Sadly, despite the best efforts of all those at the scene, the patient passed away.

At 13.50 we dispatched our Topcliffe aircraft to a child who had fallen in Driffield. Our crew provided on-scene support and the patient was taken to hospital by land ambulance.

At 13.04 we dispatched our Nostell aircraft to a stabbing in Rotherham. Our Critical Care Team assessed the patient and travelled with him by land ambulance to the hospital.

At 14.06 we dispatched our Nostell aircraft to a patient who had a serious fall in Halifax. Our Critical Care Team treated the male patient and travelled with him by land ambulance to a hospital, where he received further treatment.
