Incident round up
Many believe the government funds Yorkshire Air Ambulance and that we fall under the NHS. This is untrue; a vital part of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s operation depends on the generosity of the public and organisations.
We are integrating a new system for our team to record call-outs. We are now adding incident reports again, recording recent incidents whilst also returning and adding incidents from previous months. This may take some time to update fully, so please bear with us.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance attended a male patient who had been involved in an incident at a private address on Monday 22nd March around 10:30am in Goole. The patient was transported to the nearest hospital via Road Ambulance

At 08.26am we dispatched our Nostell aircraft to a patient with a head injury in Doncaster. Our Critical Care Team provided on-scene support and the patient was taken to hospital by land ambulance.

At 16.17 we dispatched our Topcliffe aircraft to a cardiac arrest in York. Sadly, despite the best efforts of all those on-scene, the patient passed away.

At 12.37pm we dispatched our Topcliffe aircraft to a road traffic collision involving three vehicles in Northallerton. Our Critical Care Team provided on-scene support and the patients were taken to hospital by land ambulance.
