Organised by the Rotary Club of Elland, this year’s Elland Show is set to be better than ever before, with a motor show featuring vehicles from the past to the present day.
Taking place at Elland Cricket Club, the show is on from 9 am until 5 pm.
There will be live music provided by:
Little and Often (Soul Music)
Francesca From the Nightingales (1950’s Swing)
Elland Silver Band
Project Colt Choir
Oliver (1990’s)
Other attractions include a stationary Spitfire engine and a Merlin engine that will be running alongside each other, stalls in the Vintage Village, and family attractions from fairground rides to birds of prey displays.
There will also be a dog show from the Halifax & Huddersfield RSPCA where you can bring along your furry friends to win prizes.
There will be circus skills, animal petting stalls, tomahawk throwing and ferret racing, and of course the ever-popular food court.
One of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance helicopters is due to land at this year’s event at 1 p.m. (subject to operational requirements*).
