Starting at Bishop Monkton Village Hall (HG3 3QG)

We are so pleased that the Ripon Rotary Bike Ride is back this year!

Taking place on Saturday 7th May 2022, this is a 100km circular route through the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside and is taking place in support of the Rotary charities including Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Saint Michael’s Hospice, Dementia Forward, and Scleroderma Research Foundation.

This bike ride is not a race and it is intended to be fun.

The entry fee is £35.00 prior to the closure of online registration (30/04/2022) and £45.00 after that date. There will be a limited number of last-minute rider places available (cash only, at the higher entry fee) at Bishop Monkton Village Hall on the day of the bike ride. This will be on a first-come-first-served basis from 07:30. But why not enter and pay online before then and get access to the Chevin Cycles discount voucher?

The ride starts at Bishop Monkton Village Hall (HG3 3QG) with check-in from 7.30 am till 9.00 am, the earliest start being 8.00 am. The Village Hall is situated on the Knaresborough Road on the right-hand side going towards Ripon. There is ample car parking.

The 100k route is not too hilly and if taken at a steady pace can be done by those with moderate levels of fitness. There are marshals at key points along the route should anyone require assistance.
