The Northern Heavy Horse Society Continues to Support the YAA

Posted by Pearl Saville

The Northern Heavy Horse Society, based in Malton North Yorkshire, consists of members with a variety of horses including Shires, Clydesdales and Belgian draft horses.

Every year, on the first Sunday in October, the society host a show and ploughing match at the North Cave, Hull, to raise money for the YAA! To date the society have raised over £10,000 for the YAA!

Despite bad weather, this year the society managed to raise a huge £1000 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Pictured amongst the many images of the horses, is Fundraising Manager Bob Smailes gratefully accepting the cheque donation on behalf of the YAA!

A huge thank you to all involved from all at the YAA!
