Aiguille de Marbrees

Posted by Liv Johnson

Congratulations to Marc Stupples who has just completed a climbing challenge to raise vital funds for the YAA! Marc had originally planned to climb the summiting of the Gran Paradiso in the Italian Alps but due to adverse weather conditions such as fresh snow, poor visibility and high winds  it was deemed too much of a risk with potential dangers.

Marc was however able to do an alternative climb, Aiguille de Marbees classic ridge climb. The summit of the ridge is a little lower at 3535 meters (11,597 feet) but still a very impressive challenge and great achievement!

Marc works for XPO Logistics who are also big supporters of the YAA and over the last 12 months have raised over £2,000 for the Charity!

Thank you so much Marc!
