Meet Heather Stansfield, our experienced Finance Clerk here at Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Based in Halifax, Heather plays a key role in our finance team, ensuring Gift Aid is successfully claimed on all eligible donations, helping to make every penny go even further for our lifesaving service.

Before joining YAA, Heather worked in the banking sector for many years, bringing a wealth of financial experience with her. She joined the charity in 2011 on what was originally a 12-month contract and has been with us ever since!

Reflecting on her time at YAA, Heather said, “It’s a privilege to work for such a meaningful charity and know I’m contributing to something that makes a real difference.”
