There are several ways to pay in a legacy. You can use our simple online payment method, make a direct bank transfer, or send a cheque. You will find further details on each of these methods below.

All gifts in Wills, or legacies, are carefully managed by our Administration Team at our head office in Elland. To ensure these gifts are properly administered to the Charity, we request certain details from you as Executor, as well as information about the person who has kindly left the gift.

We would be very grateful if you could provide a covering letter or email including the following information (if you choose to pay online, you can provide these details during the online process):

• The full name and title of the deceased
• Last address of the deceased
• Date of death
• Executor’s name and contact details
• A copy of the will and any codicils (photocopy, scan or photo acceptable). This demonstrates to our auditors that the Charity is entitled to the legacy and that we have complied with any special wishes
• If the gift is a residuary legacy, where Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) is left a share or percentage of an estate, please include a copy of the final estate accounts
• If possible, any information about the reason for the legacy

We will also be able to update our donor record for the deceased, if applicable.
