Many believe the government funds Yorkshire Air Ambulance and that we fall under the NHS. This is untrue; a vital part of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s operation depends on the generosity of the public and organisations.
We are integrating a new system for our team to record call-outs. We are now adding incident reports again, recording recent incidents whilst also returning and adding incidents from previous months. This may take some time to update fully, so please bear with us.

Our Nostell-based crew and operational aircraft G-YAAA were called at 16:59 PM on Wednesday, 4th June 2025, to a patient who had been injured in a road traffic collision in Sheffield. Our crew assisted the patient at the scene before accompanying them to hospital via land ambulance hospital.

At 12.40 PM on Tuesday, 3rd June 2025, our Topcliffe-based crew and operational aircraft G-YORX were called to Hutton Bonville to assist a patient with a lower leg injury after falling from a horse. They provided support and treatment on scene, before transporting the patient by air to hospital for further treatment.
