The residents at Rowan Court in Thirsk arranged a fundraising afternoon with a raffle, bookstall, delicious cake stall and also sold YAA Christmas cards. All their hard work raised a staggering £784.25 which will help to keep the two yellow helicopters flying across Yorkshire saving lives. Tessa Klemz, North Yorkshire Community Fundraiser went to collect the donation and thanked them for their generous support. Residential Manager, Andrea Brazil mentioned that the residents would like to make the event an annual occasion. Thank you to all at Rowan Court!
