Thank you to the Makin family for raising an incredible £1,970 by allowing birdwatchers to access their land to see a rare Green Warbler bird that was discovered on farmland at Buckton near Bridlington in return for a donation to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Birdwatchers flocked to see the rare sight and take photos and the money was raised by a GoFundMe campaign.

Rob Scott, East Yorkshire Regional Fundraiser, said:” We would like to thank the landowner for organising this fundraiser and for raising an incredible £1,970 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The money raised will help greatly towards the vital funding of our service.”
