YAA – Run for All Leeds Half Marathon – Fundraising Agreement

Your Fundraising Agreement – Leeds Half Marathon

By booking your place with Yorkshire Air Ambulance, you’re not just running a race; you’re representing our charity, raising awareness, and playing a direct role in funding our service. We want every charity place to be filled by someone who understands that responsibility and is excited to go the extra mile, not just on race day, but in the lead up too.

What You Commit To

  • You will pay the standard entry fee of £48, which includes:
  • Your YAA running top
  • Your online fundraising page set up and support

• You commit to a minimum fundraising target of £200, which must be received by YAA within six weeks following the event.

What YAA Commits To

We’re with you every step of the way and will provide

  • Fundraising advice, materials, and ideas
  • Ongoing support from our fundraising team
  • Updates on how your fundraising helps our helicopters and highly-specialist clinical teams respond to life-threatening emergencies across Yorkshire

Additional Terms and Conditions

If you can no longer run:

Please tell us as soon as possible. We may be able to offer your place to another keen runner. Registration fees cannot be refunded, and any sponsorship money already raised will be treated as donations to YAA unless any of your supporters contact us directly to request a refund.

Securing your place and event registration: Your charity place is only secured once you have registered your place with Run For All. Please note, you will be unable to take part without completing this registration by the stated deadline from Run For All. The deadline is governed by Run for All, and no extensions can be granted under any circumstances.

Independent fundraising events: If you choose to organise your own fundraising events (for example, a cake sale or pub quiz), you acknowledge that these are organised independently by you “in aid of” YAA and not by the charity itself. You are responsible for all aspects of such events, including health and safety and any necessary permissions. YAA accepts no responsibility or liability for independently organised events. If you wish to use the YAA logo, please contact us, and we can provide a “Proud to Support” version of our logo.

Health, Eligibility and Liability: By taking part, you declare that you are fit to run, are participating at your own risk, and will meet the minimum age requirement set by the event organisers on race day. You acknowledge that you are responsible for your own health and well-being throughout the event and any associated training. You accept that YAA accepts no liability in connection with your participation in the event for any loss or damage of any kind, including to you or your belongings. This does not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We hope you’ll choose to be part of our team and help make a real difference to people across Yorkshire.
