Incident round up
Many believe the government funds Yorkshire Air Ambulance and that we fall under the NHS. This is untrue; a vital part of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s operation depends on the generosity of the public and organisations.
We are integrating a new system for our team to record call-outs. We are now adding incident reports again, recording recent incidents whilst also returning and adding incidents from previous months. This may take some time to update fully, so please bear with us.

Pontefract
Our Nostell rapid response vehicle was dispatched to a patient who was electrocuted in Pontefract. Our Critical Care Team assessed the patient and he was taken to hospital by road ambulance.

At 9.04am our Topcliffe aircraft was dispatched to an elderly male who suffered a cardiac arrest. Despite the best efforts of those on scene, sadly the patient passed away.

At 13.38 our Topcliffe aircraft responded to a quad bike incident in Craven where a patient sustained a chest injury. Our Critical Care Team assessed the patient and he was flown to Airedale hospital.
