Many believe the government funds Yorkshire Air Ambulance and that we fall under the NHS. This is untrue; a vital part of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s operation depends on the generosity of the public and organisations.
We are integrating a new system for our team to record call-outs. We are now adding incident reports again, recording recent incidents whilst also returning and adding incidents from previous months. This may take some time to update fully, so please bear with us.

Barden, North Yorkshire
Our Topcliffe-based crew and aircraft G-YAAA were dispatched at 09:08 AM on Tuesday, 7th October 2025, to assist a person who had been kicked by a horse in Barden. They provided support at the scene before flying the patient to hospital.

Our Topcliffe-based crew and aircraft G-YAAA were dispatched at 09:42 AM on Monday, 6th October 2025, to assist a person who had been kicked in the leg by a horse in Broughton. They provided support at the scene.

Our crew from our Topcliffe Air Support Unit were dispatched in aircraft G-YAAA to Skipton on Sunday, 5th October 2025 at 16:00 PM, to help a person who had fallen through a roof and broken their leg. The crew provided support at the scene.

Our Nostell-based crew and aircraft G-YORX were dispatched at 14:10 PM on Sunday, 5th October 2025, to assist a person who had been injured by a falling tree in Denby Dale. Sadly, the person passed away at the scene.

Our Topcliffe-based crew and aircraft G-YAAA were dispatched at 13:31 PM on Saturday, 4th October 2025, to assist a person who had dislocated their shoulder in a kayaking incident in Howsham. They provided support at the scene.

Our Nostell-based crew and aircraft G-YAAA were dispatched at 9:50 AM on Friday 3rd October 2025, to assist a patient who had been seriously injured following a machinery accident in Doncaster. Whilst on the scene, the crew requested the assistance of our Topcliffe crew and aircraft G-YORX to bring more blood. The crews provided support at the scene before travelling with the patient to hospital via land ambulance.
