Many believe the government funds Yorkshire Air Ambulance and that we fall under the NHS. This is untrue; a vital part of Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s operation depends on the generosity of the public and organisations.
We are integrating a new system for our team to record call-outs. We are now adding incident reports again, recording recent incidents whilst also returning and adding incidents from previous months. This may take some time to update fully, so please bear with us.

Our crew from our Nostell Air Support Unit were dispatched in aircraft G-YAIR to Dalton on Friday, 17th October 2025 at 19:44 PM, to help a person who had fallen. The crew provided support at the scene before accompanying the person to hospital via land ambulance. Our pilot and TCM refuelled at our Topcliffe ASU before collecting the crew from the hospital and returning to our Nostell air base.
