More Information

SKYDIVING ISN’T FOR EVERYONE

Due to the nature of the sport, there are some age, weight, and health restrictions.

AGE

The minimum age for tandem skydiving is 16. Under 18’s require parent/guardian permission in the form of signing the British Parachute Association membership agreement and medical declaration below.

Note for participants under the age of 18: As there is additional paperwork for those under 18 that must be completed by a parent/guardian, then it is suggested that one is present on the day of the jump. Photo ID for proof of age will also be required.

WEIGHT AND HEIGHT LIMITS

The maximum weight for tandem skydiving is 15 stone (95.25kg) fully clothed and your weight must be proportionate to your height. There is no height limit.

MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS

Skydive GB asks that all participants to read the Medical Declaration Form 115A.

If you can agree to the above form, then you can self-certify by completing the form and bringing it with you on the day of the jump.

If you have a medical condition listed and can’t agree to Form 115A above, it doesn’t mean that you can’t jump – you will just need your doctor to sign Form 115B instead.

If you are still unsure, take a look at the Skydive GB blog post on ‘Which Medical Form For Skydiving‘.
