Yellow Yorkshire Month

Join us in April for celebrations and activities to mark a month of Yellow Yorkshire

From 1st to 30th April 2023 we will celebrate all things Yorkshire Air Ambulance and we would love for you to help us turn Yorkshire Yellow.

There are lots of ways you can get involved and join us in celebrating a full month of Yellow Yorkshire! Why not host a recycling collection at your workplace or school, organise a yellow-themed dress-down day, or bake off, or light your building up yellow! We’ll also be on the road with our promotional vehicles for a whole week and we’d love to see you.

Workplace Recycling 3rd – 6th April

Organise a workplace recycling collection at your place of work and we’ll do the rest! Ask your colleagues to bring in any unwanted quality clothing items or shoes and we will collect them from you on Thursday 6th April and ensure they are delivered to our recycling partner, Recycling Solutions, who will then process the donations. YAA receives an agreed percentage from the sale of the items to second-hand clothing traders in the UK and worldwide. To find out more about recycling for YAA, visit our recycling page. YAA Promotional Vehicle Roadshow 11th – 14th April

We will be taking our two promotional vehicles on a tour of Yorkshire. Keep an eye on our YAA Events Page to find a roadshow location near you. Our promotional vehicles have been specially designed and built to allow our fundraising teams to bring a state-of-the-art supporter experience into communities throughout Yorkshire. The units are equipped with interactive technology and each features a replica cockpit, with curved screens showing aerial footage of the views the crews experience whilst flying in the air ambulance helicopters. Turn Yorkshire Yellow Light Up 22nd April
