Over April we’re challenging you to hike 33 miles, the distance in air miles between our Nostell and Topcliffe airbase, or the return journey of 66 miles, to help us raise vital funds to keep our helicopters flying across Yorkshire.

33 miles is 1.1 miles each day/66 miles is 2.2 miles each day and if you’d prefer not to hike it, you could cycle it, swim it or even paddle the distance, as long as you can do so safely and whilst following government guidelines.

You don’t even have to stop at 66 miles…if you are up for a bigger challenge why not tackle 99!

All we ask is that you aim to raise a minimum of £50 sponsorship through your challenge and keep us updated with your progress.

Those who complete the challenge will be sent our official Hike4Helis certificate to show off their achievement and if you send us a photo, you will be added to our Hike4Helis Heroes Facebook album.
