Big Virtual Schools Duck Race!

Entry to this event is now closed.

We can’t wait to get quacking with our brand new event and are so excited to introduce you to Yorkshire Air Ambulance Big Virtual Schools Duck Race to celebrate Yellow Yorkshire Day 2021!

Race date: Friday, 2 July 2021, 14:00

To celebrate Yellow Yorkshire Day this year we are holding The Big Virtual Schools Duck Race in partnership with Recycling Solutions.

The winning school will get a visit from our mascots, Polly Paramedic and Percy Pilot as well as one of our brand new promotional vehicles, where students will be able to find out more about Yorkshire Air Ambulance as well as getting to sit in our onboard replica cockpit.

To enter a duck for your school all that we ask is that each child brings in one piece of clothing to be recycled, on Yellow Yorkshire Day 2021. Unfortunately, we cannot accept branded school uniform. Our fundraisers will arrange to collect these from you after the event.

You will be able to select which duck you would like to enter into the race and also how you would like your school’s name to appear during the race.

To find out more about entering a duck into the race for your school, contact Jenny Jones at j.jones@yaa.org.uk

Entries close at 9am on Monday 29th June and are limited to one duck per school and 40 ducks in total, so be quick and get your entry in now.

So… what are you waiting for? Let’s get Quacking!

Once registered, we will send you a link prior to race day for you to be able to view the race on Friday 2nd July 2021.

We would like to thank you for taking part in the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Big Virtual Schools Duck Race and good luck!
