Emergency Services Day

As part of the Jubilee weekend celebrations, The Piece Hall, Halifax, is hosting a celebration of our emergency services on Friday 3rd June 2022.

Taking places from 11 am to 3 pm, teams from the police, the fire service, ambulance service, Calder Valley Search & Rescue Team, Smartmove and Calderdale LRF will all be in attendance, and our YAA fundraising team will also be there with our Yorkshire Air Ambulance promotional vehicle.

Equipped with interactive technology, our vehicles feature a replica cockpit, with screens showing aerial footage of the views the crews experience whilst flying in the air ambulance helicopters. Our team will be on board to welcome you and chat with you about the work of YAA, answering any questions you may have. To find out more about our promotional vehicles click HERE.

There will be musical entertainment provided by the West Yorkshire Police Band and West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service Band.
