The Knaresborough Young Farmers’ Tractor Run is back for 2022!

Starting at The Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate at 9am and passing through Pateley Bridge, before ending at York Place in Knaresborough.

The Knaresborough Tractor Run started in 2012 when a few members from Knaresborough Young Farmers would take their tractors out for the day and raise a little money for YAA. When the group sadly lost one of their members, Mike Spink, in 2017 they decided to hold the run on a much larger scale, in memory of Mike.

More than 360 tractors took place in the 2020 event and since it began in 2012 the run has raised over £65,000 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Our YAA Fundraisers will be along the route and are looking forward to chatting with you. Weather permitting we will have a small stall, where you will be able to purchase some of our wonderful YAA merchandise.

If you would like to take part in your tractor, there is no need to book, just turn up at The Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate for the 9 am start. It is £20 per driver and £10 per passenger to enter.

Route:

The tractors will leave The Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate at 9 am, passing through Knaresborough, Burton Leonard, Bishop Monkton, Markington, Blazefield, and Pateley Bridge, before reaching Nidderdale Showground at around 12 pm.

The run will take a return route through Pateley Bridge, Greenhow, Birstwith, and Ripley before finishing in Knaresborough at around 4 pm.
