Location

Hawes, North Yorkshire

Last year we were blown away by the fantastic Shrek installation from the Hawes Yarnbombers, and they’ve only gone and done it again! This year Wallace, Gromit and friends have stopped by and they are fabulous!

They’ve made themselves comfortable in the village of Hawes, and they’re staying firmly put until the end of the school summer holidays. So if you’re visiting the beautiful Yorkshire village, be sure to pop by and see them. Hawes has a pretty famous cheese factory and shop too, ‘It’s like no cheese I’ve ever tasted!’

The Hawes Yarnbombers and the installation are raising funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Visitors can drop there donation into the ‘Wrong Trousers’ or the collection box on the bar in The Board Inn. You can all donate using by scanning the QR code below:

I’d say that these ‘cracking’ knitted wonders are worth making a special trip to Hawes for, so ‘Set coordinates for Hawes’ and ‘go somewhere where there’s cheese!’.
