Nidderdale Walk & Run

2026 sees the 32nd anniversary of the highly successful and popular Nidderdale charity event, organised by the Rotary Club of Harrogate.

Pateley Bridge will be the start and finish point for the event, which will take participants into upper Nidderdale.

There will be six routes of approximately four, eight, fifteen, eighteen , twenty two and twenty six miles. The routes all start from Pateley Bridge Scount Hall and head up Nidderdale towards, and for many beyond, Lofthouse.

Participants can choose to raise money for any charity they wish or not to raise money. We would love it if you chose to support Yorkshire Air Ambulance, we have had supporters taking part in the walk over the years and they have all had a fantastic time, while also raising valuable funds for YAA.

The event will be open to runners and walkers who may complete whichever length route they wish. Numbers are not limited. Further information, including route and more details about the event day, can be found at nidderdale.com

Walkers pay according to the distance

8, 15, 18, 22 and 26 mile routes:

Adult: £12.50

Child 6-15 years: £6.00

Child under 6: Free (please add them using the first option)

Family (2 Adults with 1 or more children or 1 Adult with 3 or more children): £25.00 (Must be members of the same family)

4 mile route:

Adult: £6.00

Child 6-15 years: £3.00

Child under 6: Free (please add them using the first option)

Family (2 Adults with 1 or more children or 1 Adult with 3 or more children): £12.00 (Must be members of the same family)

Please note if you do not wish to pay online, payment my be made on the day of the walk (in cash or by card) but please email the organisers at nidderdalewalk@gmail.com telling them the names of the participants, the distances being walked and which charity or charities you will be supporting, if any.
