Get ready for one of North Yorkshire’s most heart-warming and spectacular community events!

Knaresborough’s annual charity Tractor Run returns in 2026, once again proudly supporting the life-saving work of Yorkshire Air Ambulance. This much-loved tradition brings together farmers, families, and tractor enthusiasts from across the region for a day of roaring engines, rural camaraderie, and incredible fundraising.

The Tractor Run has been a dedicated supporter of Yorkshire Air Ambulance for many years and in 2025 along, the event raised an astonishing £31,690 to help keep our helicopters flying and saving lives.

This year promises to be bigger and better than ever, with over 350 tractors expected to take part in a truly impressive procession through the Yorkshire countryside.

Event Highlights:

  • Date: Sunday 8 March 2026
  • Start location: Harrogate Showground
  • Departure time: Approx. 9:00 am
  • Special moment: One of our iconic yellow YAA helicopters is scheduled to land at Pateley Bridge around 1:00 pm, offering a unique chance to see the aircraft up close and meet the crew.*

*Please note: all helicopter timings are subject to operational requirements. The crew remain on active duty throughout and may need to leave at short notice. Please follow the guidance of Yorkshire Air Ambulance representatives on site at all times.
