Run the Great North Run 2026 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance

We’re delighted to be offering a limited number of charity places for the Great North Run 2026, the world’s biggest half-marathon!

Be part of something special as you take on the iconic 13.1-mile route from Newcastle to South Shields, cheered on by thousands of supporters. With legendary crowds, live entertainment, and an electric atmosphere from start to finish, the Great North Run is an unforgettable experience, and there’s no better way to do it than by running proudly for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Crossing the finish line knowing you’ve raised vital funds to help save lives across Yorkshire makes this challenge even more meaningful.

What’s involved?

• £65 registration fee. This covers your official Great North Run race place and a YAA race vest.
• Minimum fundraising target of £400. Every penny raised will go directly to Yorkshire Air Ambulance, supporting our lifesaving work across the whole of Yorkshire.

How to apply

By reading our YAA GNR Fundraising Agreement and completing the form below, you’ll be registering your interest in running as part of Team YAA at the Great North Run 2026.

We’re looking for enthusiastic fundraisers and committed runners who are excited to take on this challenge and proud to wear YAA colours on the big day. You’ll be supported along the way to help you reach your fundraising goal and make the biggest impact possible. 

Places are limited and will be allocated before 1st March 2026.
