Mark Wood braves the skies for the YAA and raises £2,400

A huge thank you and well done to Mark Wood who recently completed a wing walk and has now raised £2,400 for the YAA. The wing walk was in memory and celebration of his friend Ed Brier, who at 20 years old was sadly killed when his motorbike collided with a vehicle that pulled out without looking. His girlfriend Hannah suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital.

Jenny Jones, Regional Fundraising Manager (South and West), said: “We would like to congratulate Mark on completing his wing walk and for raising an incredible £2,400 for the YAA.  It costs £2,400 for a single YAA mission and the money raised will help greatly towards the vital funding of our service.”
