Location: Office-based (Charity head office in Elland)

Hours: Ad-hoc / as required

Reports to: Office & Admin Manager

Salary: This is a voluntary role

At Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA), our helicopters are ready to respond to emergencies across Yorkshire – thanks to the generosity of the public and the dedication of our team.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Volunteer to provide valuable support to our busy administration team. This role is essential in helping us maintain smooth day-to-day operations, ensuring our lifesaving service continues to run efficiently.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and organising documents.
  • Input and update data accurately within our CRM system.
  • Make outgoing phone calls to supporters, suppliers, or other contacts as required (non-fundraising, non-sales).
  • Support the admin team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow organisational data protection policies.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and other volunteers within the office environment.
  • Handling of incoming and outgoing post.

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Experience

  • Basic administrative skills (filing, data entry, use of photocopier/scanner/franking machine).
  • Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office software. Experience with CRM systems is beneficial, but full training will be provided.
  • Confident and polite telephone manner.
  • Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take instructions when required.
