Join us for the spectacular Scarborough Goldwing Light Parade, where dozens of beautifully illuminated Honda Goldwing motorcycles will light up the streets in support of Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

This much-loved annual event brings together riders, supporters and spectators for a memorable evening, all while raising funds to help keep Yorkshire Air Ambulance flying and saving lives across the region.

Whether you’re a motorcycle enthusiast or simply looking for a fantastic family-friendly evening out, everyone is welcome.

Event timings

8:30 am Yorkshire Air Ambulance stall on South Pier opens (YAA merchandise, Lucky bags, motorcycle raffle – funds from the raffle will be split between Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Asthma and Lung UK)

12:00 pm – 4:00 pm Daytime static motorcycle display at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre in North Bay

8:00 pm – 9:00 pm The main Goldwing Light Parade along the seafront

9:30 pm Fireworks display over South Bay Beach

What to expect

After viewing all the bikes at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre, head to the seafront to watch an incredible procession of illuminated Goldwing motorcycles as they make their way through Scarborough, creating a dazzling display of lights and colour.

You’ll have the chance to:

• See dozens of spectacularly decorated motorcycles
• Enjoy a fantastic community atmosphere
• Meet fellow supporters and motorcycle enthusiasts.
• Support Yorkshire Air Ambulance through donations and fundraising activities.

Every day, Yorkshire Air Ambulance provides rapid-response emergency care to people across Yorkshire. As an independent charity, we rely on the generosity of supporters and fundraising events like the Scarborough Goldwing Light Parade to help keep our helicopters and crews flying.
