YAA – Pedal to the Pad – Fundraising Agreement

Your Fundraising Agreement – Pedal to the Pad

By booking onto our very first Pedal to the Pad bike ride, you’ll be joining us for a memorable day riding from North to West Yorkshire while helping to support our charity and raise awareness of our lifesaving work.

Everyone taking part plays an important role in helping fund our service, and we’re grateful to those who are happy to support Yorkshire Air Ambulance through their fundraising in the lead up to the challenge as well as on the day itself.

What You Commit To

  • You will pay the standard entry fee, which includes:
    • A YAA cycling jersey
    • A YAA water bottle
    • Your online fundraising page set up and support
    • A well-needed chip butty for those doing the full 100-mile route

• You commit to a minimum fundraising target of £200, which must be received by YAA within six weeks following the event.

What YAA Commits To

We’re with you every step of the way and will provide:

  • Fundraising advice, materials, and ideas
  • Ongoing support from our fundraising team
  • One or more manned checkpoints along the route, with water available at them all
  • Updates on how your fundraising helps our helicopters and highly-specialist clinical teams respond to life-threatening emergencies across Yorkshire

Additional Terms and Conditions

If you can no longer take part:

Please tell us as soon as possible. We may be able to offer your place to another keen cyclist. Registration fees cannot be refunded, and any sponsorship money already raised will be treated as donations to YAA unless any of your supporters contact us directly to request a refund.

Independent fundraising events: If you choose to organise your own fundraising events (for example, a cake sale or pub quiz), you acknowledge that these are organised independently by you “in aid of” YAA and not by the Charity itself. You are responsible for all aspects of such events, including health and safety and any necessary permissions. YAA accepts no responsibility or liability for independently organised events. If you wish to use the YAA logo, please contact us, and we can provide a “Proud to Support” version of our logo.

Health, Eligibility and Liability: By taking part, you declare that you are fit to cycle and are participating at your own risk. You acknowledge that you are responsible for your own health and well-being throughout the event and any associated training. You accept that YAA accepts no liability in connection with your participation in the event for any loss or damage of any kind, including to you or your belongings. This does not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We hope you’ll choose to be part of our team and help make a real difference to people across Yorkshire.
