Your Fundraising Agreement – Yorkshire Air Ambulance Sky Dive
By booking your place with Yorkshire Air Ambulance, you’re not just taking on the thrilling challenge of a skydive, you’re representing our charity, raising awareness, and playing a direct role in funding our service. We want every charity place to be filled by someone who understands that responsibility and is excited to go above and beyond, not just jump day, but in the lead up too.
What You Commit To
You will pay a £60 deposit and the remains £159 on jump day, which includes:
- Your YAA yellow T shirt
- Your online fundraising page set up and support
You commit to a minimum fundraising target of £200, which must be received by YAA within six weeks following the event.
What YAA Commits To
We’re with you every step of the way and will provide
- Fundraising advice, materials, and ideas
- Ongoing support from our fundraising team
- Updates on how your fundraising helps our helicopters and highly-specialist clinical teams respond to life threatening emergencies across Yorkshire
Additional Terms and Conditions
If you can no longer jump:
Please tell us as soon as possible. We may be able to offer your place to another thrill seeker. Registration fees cannot be refunded, and any sponsorship money already raised will be treated as donations to YAA unless any of your supporters contact us directly to request a refund.
Securing your place and event registration: Your place is secured once you have paid your £60 deposit, but you will only be able to jump once the remaining balance of £159 is paid to SkyDive GB on the day.
Independent fundraising events: If you choose to organise your own fundraising events (for example, a cake sale or pub quiz), you acknowledge that these are organised independently by you “in aid of” YAA and not by the charity itself. You are responsible for all aspects of such events, including health and safety and any necessary permissions. YAA accepts no responsibility or liability for independently organised events. If you wish to use the YAA logo, please contact us and we can provide a “Proud to Support” version of our logo.
Health, Eligibility and Liability: By taking part, you declare that you are fit to jump, are participating at your own risk, and will meet the minimum age requirement set by the event organisers SkyDive GB. You acknowledge that you are responsible for your own health and wellbeing throughout the event and any associated training. You accept that YAA accepts no liability in connection with your participation in the event for any loss or damage of any kind, including to you or your belongings. This does not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We hope you’ll choose to be part of our team and help make a real difference to people across Yorkshire.
