A huge thank you to Killinghall Nomads JFC for their generous donation of £1.000 raised from car park ticket sales from one of their recent tournaments in July.

North Yorkshire Community Fundraiser Clare Deacon organised a cheque presentation at Leeds United Sports Camp with the club chair, Darren Casey.

Clare, said: “We would like to say a big thank you to Killinghall Nomads JFC for raising an incredible £1,000 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. It costs £12,000 a day to keep both of our helicopters airborne and the money raised will help greatly towards our vital funding, particularly in rural North Yorkshire where journey times to hospitals are often longer and our service can really make a difference.”
