The charity ride is taking place on 8th September in the Peak District, starting at the Hathersage Rd, Sheffield, S11 7TY. There will be parking on-site and on the adjacent road.
They have a tough act to follow, as their last ride/campaign saw 120 bikes out on the lanes and over £14,500 raised for the YAA!
This ride will be approximately 100 miles and will take 6 – 7 hours, dependant on pace. This ride is suitable for all abilities, from newbie to experienced rider, so no excuses not to be there.
They are asking for a £10 donation to take part (although not compulsory)!
100% of all monies raised will go toward Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Bikes will need to be fully legal (taxed, tested & insured) and each rider needs to be legal, i.e. have a full or provisional licence, as we will be utilising the legal green lanes in the Peak District.
Please also note the both Derbyshire and South Yorkshire Police will be joining to support the fund-raising and the event. They ARE NOT joining in to police the event.
Due to the route, this is a ride for motorbikes only – note that quads will not be able to ride the route, due to the width of some of the lanes.
Everyone is welcome!
Further fuller details will be posted nearer the time.
