YAA Pilot thanks Masham Sheep Fair for raising a further £10,000 for charity!

Yorkshire Air Ambulance Chief Pilot Steve Waudby was delighted to accept a cheque from the Masham Sheep Fair Committee chaired by Richard Alderson and organised by Susan Cunliffe Lister at a dinner at the Black Sheep Brewery visitors centre on the 1st February 2019.

With additional donations the total raised for the YAA was £10,000, bringing the overall total to date from Masham Sheep Fair to over £60,000. The Masham Sheep Fair traditionally takes place on the last weekend in September, but will be one week later in 2019 on the 5th and 6th October.

Steve thanked everyone in the Sheep Fair “family” who always give so generously of their time to support the Sheep Fair and its subsequent support of the YAA and other local good causes. An additional £320 was raised in the raffle on the night.

This week's fundraising roundup features Northallerton and Richmond job centre who raised £363 and Buckle Barton who raised £1,500. Thank you for your support! Read more about how they raised the money here: https://t.co/ENpjckDoCg https://t.co/hWq6H3J0TT
