The Joiners Arms Annual Tug of War raises £763!

The Joiners Arms Hampsthwaite challenged The Station Hotel Birstwith to an annual tug of war on New Years day hosted by Tony & Rebecca Crannage Licensees of the Joiners Arms. Yorkshire Air ambulance were the winners with a fantastic £763.73 raised on the day.

YAA volunteer Magaret Potter also went along on the day to support them and sell raffle tickets.

Lin Stead, North Regional Fundraiser, said: “A huge thank you to Tony and Rebecca Crannage for organising the event and raising an incredible £763 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, this donation will help tremedously towards the vital funding of the YAA.”

A brilliant day had by all .Thankyou to customers and locals who supported the event and a special mention to Kevin Hotham who supplied the rope.
