Teeside and North Yorkshire Trail Riders club have raised an impressive £1,500 for the Yorkshire Ambulance.
A group of 40 riders from across the country took part in a two day, 140 mile trek across the Yorkshire Wolds to raise money for the charity which needs over £12,000 a day to keep both Ambulances in the air and maintained.
The route started at the Providence Inn at Yedingham near Malton and continued across the North and East Yorkshire moors, crossing the Yorkshire Wolds.
Liv Mulligan, North Yorkshire Community Fundraiser for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to the Teeside and North Yorkshire Trail Riders for raising an incredible £1,500 for the YAA.
The money raised will help greatly towards the vital funding of our service and help us continue saving lives across Yorkshire.”
