Star Wars table top gaming tournament raises £1,000 for YAA

A group of table top gaming enthusiasts have raised an incredible £1,000 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Will Sheard and his friend Mark Farebrother, who run the Facebook fan page for X-wing, hosted a Star Wars gaming tournament at Element Games in Stockport.

The tournament involved 36 players competing against each other with scenery, models, cards and dice.

Vickie Bowden, West Yorkshire Regional Fundraiser for the YAA, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to Will and Mark for hosting their tournament and raising such a phenomenal amount of money for our charity.

The money raised will help tremendously towards the vital funding of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and help us continue our mission to save lives across Yorkshire.”
