Over £22,000 raised for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance by Rotary Harrogate Brigantes

On 23 May, a wonderful day of fundraising took place at Oakdale Golf Club, Harrogate, organised by Rotary Harrogate Brigantes.

At 5pm, when the golfing antics were coming to a close, we were greeted by one of our yellow helicopters and the crew. Yorkshire Air Ambulance wanted to sincerely thank the Harrogate Brigantes for raising a phenomenal £22,790.30 to date.

This total has been raised from various fundraising – a fine example being their annual Santa’s Grotto in Asda, Harrogate. In addition, this golf day will see their total soar well above £23,000 as that evening a brilliantly entertaining auction took place….the room was full of laughter, joy and generosity. A brilliant day of fundraising indeed.

Their ongoing support is very inspiring and truly life-saving. As an independent charity needing to raise £12,000 each day, we rely on such incredible local generosity and are so grateful to have such kind and loyal support.

There's still time to sign up to the Tadcaster Duathlon on March 15th 2020. We are the Tadcaster Duathlon charity partner and @sportivehq are generously making a £5 donation to the YAA for every sign up! Who will be joining us? https://t.co/FfFJNZ2vwE https://t.co/ig0WOJmgQ4
