Brave Lynnette Thomas who suffered a stroke in February 2018, was airlifted by Yorkshire Air Ambulance after the ground ambulance broke down.
She was airlifted to James Cook Hospital where she had an emergency operation to remove some of her skull due to swelling. Now she’s awaiting another operation to insert a plate in her head.
In between all of the stress and difficulties plus their two lively daughters, Lynnette and her husband James organised a Coffee Morning and raffle to raise funds for YAA and POSCH (Parents & Carers of Special Children).
Tessa Klemz, YAA North Yorkshire Community Fundraiser, was presented with a very generous £350 from the event and says “Lynnette and James are truly inspirational and through their positiveness and determination, continue to raise generous funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. A huge well done to them and all their supporters, family and friends. We wish Lynnette well in her next operation.”
