Field Lane Co-op members raise over £4,000 to help purchase oxygen cylinders for YAA

Customers of the Field Lane Co-op in Brighouse, have raised an impressive £4,190.33 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
When Co-op membership card holders buy Co-op branded products and swipe their card, 1% of the money spent is donated to a local charitable cause.
The money raised by Field Lane Co-op members will help the YAA to purchase life saving oxygen for seriously injured patients and help replace the cylinders, which happens over 300 times a year.
Angela Vyas, Community Fundraiser for West Yorkshire, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to the Co-op and their customers for supporting the YAA.The money raised will help greatly towards the vital funding of our service and saving lives across Yorkshire.”
