The air ambulance charity launched the YAA Lottery in 2003 and since its launch it has gone from strength to strength. The Lottery is one of the charity's largest sustainable and lowest cost income streams, generating over £250,000 per year.
We now have over 5000 members paying £1 per week to enter, and with such a strong membership weekly jackpots are now over £1,200. We make sure that 73p of every line goes directly to running our life-saving service and 25p goes into the prize fund, so the more members we get the more the prize fund increases.
As members sign up for a number of weeks (a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 52 weeks) we can guarantee that the money will be there every week to help support the service. It is a fantastic way for people to support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, to save lives and to stand the chance of winning a great weekly prize.
Uniquely, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Lottery takes its numbers from the main Saturday night Lotto draw, which means members can instantly find out if they are a winner. Unlike the main Lotto draw though, only three numbers are needed to become a jackpot winner.
Prizes do not need to be claimed, they are automatically sent out following the draw.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance Lottery Gift Vouchers make ideal presents and while you're helping by making a donation to the charity, the person you purchase the voucher(s) for could become one of our lucky winners, taking away our weekly jackpot of over £1,200.
When the voucher(s) have been purchased for someone as a gift, all the recipient needs to do is complete the back of the voucher with the details requested, including their 3 chosen numbers returning it to the charity office: Cayley House, 10 South Lane, Elland, HX5 0HQ and it will be processed and entered into the draw for them.
Vouchers come in £10 denominations. Each voucher entitles the recipient to be entered into the Lottery draw for the number of weeks, up to the value of the purchased vouchers e.g. 2 x £10 would pay for 20 weeks entry into the lottery.
