Legacies & Memorial Donations
Many people use their Wills to leave the precious gift of a legacy to a favourite charity because donations in this way are free from Inheritance and Capital Gains Tax. It's a wonderful opportunity to do something positive in your lifetime to make an individual contribution to our work in the future
As one teenage accident victim said on being reunited with the crew who helped her "There is no doubt that Yorkshire Air Ambulance saved my life, I am so grateful it exists".
There are several ways in which you can leave a legacy to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance
Make a Monetary Gift
This involves leaving a specific amount as a cash donation to the charity.
Make a Residual Gift
After making a provision for your family and friends, you may consider leaving the remainder, or a proportion of your estate to the charity.
Make a Gift in Kind
Bequeath a gift of shares, property, or any other items you may wish to leave to the charity.
In Memory
Ask family and friends to make a donation to the charity in lieu of flowers.
